About the OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Capability Analyst to join our Central Functions Line of Business based at in either Adelaide – SA or Melbourne - VIC reporting to the Engineering and Agile Systems Manager

We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.

You will be responsible for architecting, maintaining, and delivery of the Atlassian Suite within be BAE Systems Corporate network.

You will ensure the content of the Atlassian Suite roadmap aligns with the organisations strategy and key stakeholder requirements by engaging with key contacts, customers, and keeping abreast of industry trends.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist the team to provide support and service to our internal customers
• Provide a point of escalation for support and system related issues
• Responsible for setting the technical direction, vision and delivery of technical roadmaps for the Atlassian Suite
• Responsible for managed release of production changes for the Atlassian Suite
• Manage licencing for systems within their domain(s) to ensure adequate licencing exists to meet demands
• Contribute to the wider Application Services budget (licencing, resource utilisation, and training)
• Collaborate with IM&T Architecture on delivery, design, architecture, and promote our service offerings

About YOU

• ICT or Engineering related degree or equivalent
• Broad stakeholder communications skills (cross functional), strong customer focus able to utilize negotiation skills and manage potential conflicts
• Experience managing Altassian applications such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket in a large enterprise environment
• Proficient skills in teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Demonstrated analysis skills, critical thinking and problem solving
• Above all, an inquisitive nature and the need to understand how things work
• Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
• Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
