You will have SAP Architecture knowledge and experience in the complex SAP ERP S/4HANA landscape to support the successful ERP Program outcomes and alignment to transformation objectives.
Role
The Capability Planning Architect will utilise SAP architectural knowledge and experience to support the Capability Planning Lead within the Enabling Services and Planning Team for initial assessing and planning ERP Program future scope to:
- Providing and develop architectural input to Capability Scoping Proposal/Definition and identify potential planning of long lead items, options analysis, internal and external dependences and recommended mitigation/management plans including the connection to legacy applications for proposed initial scoping study activities
- Working with the Delivery Planning Lead and ERP Delivery Leadership to identify and document recommendations on potential scoping future releases efficiencies during initial assessment of functional and technical scope for each ERP release.
- Supporting Enabling Services and Planning Leadership in other various duties and activities as required to ensure ERP Program activities are successful. '
Responsibilities
- Providing ERP SAP project management, complex understanding and input to the evaluation of industry proposals and selection of Release Delivery Partners, supporting and aligning stakeholders with realistic and achievable expectations.
- Leveraging ERP and SAP project management experience – working as part of a team to ensure schedule and quality targets are met and overall outcomes are achieved by supporting the transfer of future Tranche planning activities to the ERP Delivery Team ensuring alignment with optimal outcomes for Defence and adoption of ERP implementation best practices.
- Continuously improving a set of repeatable delivery preparation and planning activities, utilising Program framework methodologies, templates and tools to manage activities transitioning from planning into delivery at the commencement of a specific project/release activities allowing alignment with optimal outcomes for adoption of ERP implementation best practices.
