The Opportunity:
Due to our sustained growth, we are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Mechanical/Piping Design Drafter with hands-on experience in projects ranging from conceptual design to detailed engineering. This position reports directly to the Designer Team Lead and involves working on a diverse array of projects across the Energy, Chemical, and Mineral Processing industries. You'll be involved in the entire design process, from concept to detailed design.

What to expect:
- Translate complex engineering concepts into detailed drawings.
- Develop project CAD execution plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Provide input for software development to enhance drafting practices.
- Share your mechanical and piping expertise by assisting others in design and CAD software utilisation.
Your Background:
- Technical Diploma, trade qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in mechanical and piping design drafting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, piping, and structural engineering principles.
- Experience in mining, minerals processing, energy, oil & gas industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-discipline projects from conceptual design to detailed design.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards, relevant codes, and project specifications.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation (2D and 3D modeling), Plant3D & Inventor.
