ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity to join the Autobarn family in the role of Car Audio and Accessory Fitter, who will assist with achieving store sales targets & provide high quality installation services.
The role of Car Audio and Accessory Fitter reports to the Store Manager, and tasks include:
- Installing audio electrics other vehicle accessories
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Working with team members to help customers get the best from their vehicle
- Maintaining fitting service appointments
- Creating a safe and secure working environment
- Complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures & instructions
We highly regard candidates with valid Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent, or qualified Auto Electricians.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior accessory fitting/workshop experience
- Strong communication & people skills
- A “can-do” attitude from someone who loves to get the job done well
- Skill in installations of audio electronics
- Installation of 4wd accessories is also highly regarded
- Authentic passion for customer service
- Eagerness to continuously learn, train, and work with the whole team
