Engineering People is currently on the look out for someone with great communication skills who has a strong technical background in Car Audio. You do not need qualifications but experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
People have problems with their car stereo and you will be the person who will help them fix or organise a replacement unit - its as simple as that.
People who have experience as automotive technicians or customer support people from the automotive field are well suited to this role, as they work with the equipment and customers all the time. Automotive technicians, motor mechanics (well that's an old phrase) please apply.
Some people may look at this opportunity for a short term role, whilst looking for another opportunity. We require someone who is interested in a position that is for the longer term, not the short term.
The role requires a person with the ability to listen to customers about their Car Audio problems and help them resolve them. Positive can do attitude works here really well.
We feel that its an outstanding opportunity to build a future with a growing company who supply to companies like supercheap auto and Autobarn. We are seeking a candidate for a permanent role.
The main focus of this role is to work over the phone with customers and provide direct support on the progress of the clients goods being repaired and when they will be supplied through the workshop. So interaction is required with the warehouse and order system. So you will need computer skills, otherwise it just stares back at you blankly.
The role requires a candidate with:-
- Capacity to do multiple things at once and still have a smile in their voice when answering the telephone,
- Customer Service experience,
- Enthusiasm, energy and a can do attitude,
- A high level of people skills,
- An ability to communicate both verbally ie over the telephone and in writing.
- A team focused and team player aptitude,
- A high level of patience and organisation skills,
- A capacity for thinking laterally or outside the square,
- Common sense in the most logical sense.
- Qualifications or experience in automotive in administration/ /sales support would be desirable, but not essential.
- Admin and data entry skills. Ie entering the orders into the order system.
