Are you a proven salesperson with a minimum of 2-years of sales experience in the automotive industry or other industries such as truck, caravan, motorhome, boats, auto parts & accessory, leisure & outdoor gear, white goods or retail sales? If so, then we are looking for you! We are actively seeking experienced sales personnel for both new and used car dealerships across the vibrant Brisbane Region in 2024. The career progression in automotive sales is immense!
Please note that upon employment, if you do not possess a QLD motor salesperson registration certificate from the Office of Fair Trading, you will be required to obtain it by completing Certificate III in Automotive Sales and applying for the licence.
About the Role
As a Car Sales Professional, you'll be a key player in dynamic sales teams at leading dealerships in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. If you're passionate about customer engagement, can thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a talent for closing deals while treating your customers as guests, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
- Learn and maintain a strong understanding of the features and benefits of vehicles that you present to your customers.
- Showcase and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits.
- Conduct test drives and provide in-depth product knowledge.
- Guide customers through the sales process, from initial inquiry to delivery.
- Follow up with customers and maintain records.
- Negotiate and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction in a professional manner.
- Follow up assigned leads and customers and maintain records.
- Be an excellent team member and collaborate with other team members & management to exceed sales targets.
- Proven track record with a minimum 2-year experience in sales.
- Have a friendly, positive and outgoing personality.
- Have excellent communication skills to build rapport with customers and quickly understand their needs and preferences.
- Keen to provide solutions to fulfill specific requirements of customers.
- Are a great sales team member and work effectively with the team to support each other to achieve shared goals.
- Keen to learn and deeply understand the products and services that you are selling, including features, benefits and competitive advantages.
- Ability to negotiate with customers without any fear.
- Have a good understanding of the sales process.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new situations and challenges is essential.
- Hold a current Australian Driver licence.
- Highly competitive base salary and commission structure.
- Fully maintained company car or car allowance to the right person
- 5-day working week (Monday to Saturday) with a weekday RDO.
