Delmar Private Hospital is seeking a part-time cardiac/Pulmonary Nurse to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with experience in Cardiac and or pulmonary rehabilitation and a passion for high-quality client focused care.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Delmar Private Hospital has been servicing the local community for 50 years and is part of the Macquarie Health Group who operates 12 private hospitals across NSW and VIC.
Located in Dee Why, we offer inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for acute medical and surgical patients.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We run a well-established heart wellness program that holds a great reputation in the local community. You will be part of a comprehensive MDT involved in holistic patient care. The team includes dietician, exercise physiologist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and rehabilitation specialist. We are commencing a pulmonary rehabilitation program and are looking for a cardiothoracic nurse to work within both programs.
DUTIES
Your skill set will enable you to support patients with a range of Cardiac and Pulmonary conditions. Your skills in time management and the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment will be paramount.
As a cardiac/Pulmonary Nurse you will be expected to:
- Provide quality client-focused care ensuring a holistic approach to the patient, and their carers.
- Act as a role model by encouraging best practice philosophy amongst staff and practice within the core values of Delmar Private Hospital.
- Have a solid understanding of Cardiac and Pulmonary conditions and be able to provide education to a target audience.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Current AHPRA registration.
- 5 years of cardiothoracic clinical experience or willingness to upskill.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Be passionate about delivering great customer service.
- Great with detail, working under pressure and problem solving.
- Sound Cardiac and Pulmonary skills.
- Understanding of a day rehabilitation program.
