Cardiac Co-Ordinator Operating Theatre

The Opportunity
We now have an exceptional opportunity available for the right individual to join our Cardiac Services Unit as a Cardiac Co-ordinator.
Our candidate will oversee safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards. This role incorporates a clinical role and overseeing the Cardio Thoracic specialty at PPH.
You will have experience and skills in minimally invasive procedures and be a surgical support for our Cath Lab when required.
Providing an excellent service to our internal and external customers, you will liaise with reps and perfusionists.
We are an easy 20-30 minutes' drive from the eastern suburbs and 50 minutes from metropolitan Melbourne via the East Link / Peninsula Link freeway.
Your skills and Experience

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Permanent Australian resident
• Post Graduate Critical Care qualifications
• Recent clinical experience working in acute cardiac / critical care services
• Proven ability to establish effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Evidence that demonstrates strategic thinking
• Ability to apply research findings to clinical practice
• Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing learning
• Sound computer skills in MS Office suite including Excel

Peninsula Private Hospital's 36 bed Cardiac Services Unit accommodates a variety of cardiac services including diagnostic, elective and emergency services 24 hours per day, primary angioplasty, cardiothoracic surgery, EPS and TAVI Program. • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
