Cellar Hand - Mornington Peninsula - Australian Cuvee Centre

Australian Cuvee Centre is a world class contract winemaking facility focussed on producing premium quality Australian Sparkling Wine in the traditional method for wineries across Australia. Located in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula, 1 hour south of Melbourne.
We're looking for a full-time Cellar Hand to join our small team working with our winemaker and Cellar Hand.
You will work with diverse fruit and base-wine from a variety of wine regions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about wine and wants to refine their skills and help produce premium quality cool climate and Australian Sparkling Wines.
You will have a strong work ethic, safely and precisely follow operating procedures with responsibilities such as:

• Grape receival and pressing;
• Fermentation monitoring and additions;
• Tank racking & transfers, and barrel management;
• Bottling line, Tirage and dosage; and
• Precise adherence to our cellar safety and hygiene practice

For your application to be considered, you must:

• Be willing and able to perform physically demanding work;
• Have an attentive and efficient style to your work, whilst being enthusiastic, a strong team player and excellent at communicating;
• Be committed to follow our rigorous Health and Safety practices and procedures;
• Have the right to work in Australia (sponsorship will not be considered for this role);
• Have a minimum experience of at least two vintages;
• Have forklift operation certificate in forklift operations;
• Have a vehicle to travel to and from work;
• Be able to commence work by mid-late February at the latest.

This is a full time role but work hours may vary, dependent on winery activities. Applicants must be flexible in working around vintage, with some weekend work required during vintage and occasionally at other times throughout the year.
Competitive remuneration will be awarded based on skills and experience.
