About the role
Applications are invited from Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated and friendly team in Yandilla. These permanent full or part time positions are available for an immediate start and include working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster (AM, PM & ND) and my include participating in an on call roster. This position involves providing person centred nursing care to a diverse range of patients in line with the guidelines, policies, and objectives of the Clinical Services division of Grampians Health – Horsham.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience.
- Demonstrated organisational skills particularly with respect to time management.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, residents, visitors, and staff at all levels within the organisation.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to use Information Communications Technology
- Current knowledge and understanding of acute patient centred care.
Desirable:
- Demonstrated knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities
- Minimum of 2 years post-basic experience within an acute nursing care environment
- Previous experience in acute medical / surgical care

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $34.17 - $48.26 per hour.
