Join our team as a Registered Cardiac Nurse on a part-time basis and be a vital part of our dynamic multidisciplinary clinical team, spearheaded by leading cardiologists. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care within an innovative outpatient care model.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the best possible patient outcomes. We encourage a collaborative approach, where your commitment to teamwork, innovative practices, and leveraging cutting-edge technology will make a significant impact.
Your key responsibilities:
- Delivery of patient centred care in structured facilitated clinics that follow clear protocols and are supported by IT systems tailored for a specific area of focus.
- Engagement with patients remotely outside of clinics using digital or other platforms to ensure quality, access and efficiency of care is optimised.
- Be responsible for the collection and validation of key patient data used for research and continual improvement purposes.
- Become an integral part of our CT team which includes onsite radiographer and cardiologist, and prides itself on offering an exceptional patient experience.
- Working alongside cardiac sonographers, technicians, and supervising doctor support stress echocardiograms, both dobutamine and exercise.
Who you are:
- Must have undergraduate nursing degree and registered with AHPRA
- 5 years minimum experience in a cardiology or cardiac related nursing role
- Proven success working in a team of healthcare professionals
- Experience in a busy, time pressured clinic environment
- Familiarity with the use of IT systems both to support clinic operations and data management
- Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent patient care skills with a demonstrated ability to show a friendly, sensitive and professional approach when dealing with patients.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new processes and procedures.
