The PracticeThe Clinic has been in operations for more than 15 years. The practice has a team cardiologists with sub specialty interest in treating cardiovascular diseases.
The practice is heavily involved in being at the forefront of R&D, enabling you to participate in clinical research projects and get access to manage a range of complex pathology. The practice has strong ties and affiliations with the major tertiary teaching hospitals in South Australia.A vacancy has become available.
In this role, you will perform the following duties.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echo cardiograms, stress echo cardiograms and produce preliminary reports.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other health-care professionals
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Stay abreast of advancements in cardiac imaging technology
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure a comfortable and informed experience for patients undergoing cardiac imaging procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Science or similar discipline
• Accreditation with the Australasian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality
• Ability to use GE Vivid IQ machines
• Willing to learn how to use Echo Pac Reporting system
