We are seeking a
Business Development professional with gas industry experience to join our expanding Sales team. This newly created role will join the wider Sales team at our Darra site and play a pivotal role in nurturing our growing portfolio of
Business Development opportunities and supporting our existing team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will manage customer relationships and industrial sales activities within a newly designated territory where you will be supported to drive towards achieving sales targets and fostering profitable growth.

The opportunityThis role will report into the Regional Sales Manager with the responsibility of managing customer relationships and daily industrial sales activities within an allocated sales territory to ensure sales targets and profitable growth are achieved.As the
Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Managing relationships and contracts for all customers in designated sales territory to develop a long term and commercially profitable relationship.
- Generating and maintaining a profitable and sustainable business sales / account in line with Coregas strategic plan and individual territory targets.
- Growing your territory through identifying and winning new business opportunities, securing and increasing gas / liquid sales where profitable and within company guidelines, and entering into contracts with new and existing customers.
- Maintaining profitable sales through account selection and price rise implementation (account profit models).
- Producing proposals, detailed costings and contract documents to ensure all transactions deliver maximum profit to the business.
- Monitoring market trends through personal contact with clients and suppliers and attendance at industry meetings and seminars.
- Maintaining the relationships and performance of depots within designated territory.
What you'll offer usTo succeed in this role our ideal candidate will have gained tertiary qualifications within business, chemical engineering or hold trade qualifications within welding with significant hands-on experience. Ideally you will also have some knowledge of the gas industry.Aside from the technical requirements, you will have developed your experience within a sales environment and have a solid understanding of the sales process for key account development.
