The Role
We are actively seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join our team working across Monday to Friday on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to our Residential Manager you will be responsible for ensuring consistently a high quality of care is provided to our residents, to facilitate and support their continued enjoyment of life within their level of capability.
As the Clinical Manager, your responsibilities will expand across clinical governance, staff management, AN-ACC and resident care.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all resident
- Knowledge of the aged care sector, standards
- Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.
- Developing, monitoring, implementing nurse care plans + assessing, planning and evaluating existing care plans
- Performing comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidents
- Participating in and ensuring all compliance is adhered to in accordance with aged care standards and Bolton Clarke policies and procedures.
- Actively supervising, training, and mentoring all RNs and PCWs
The Location
Rosebrook, a beautiful 91 bed residential aged care facility is located at the base of Arthurs Seat in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. It's a beautiful home with a great team and General Manager.
About You:
The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Permanent Full-Time
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience as an RN
- Experience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes, and AN-ACC
- Personal and professional commitment to delivering high quality care, the development of yourself and your staff, and the overall continuous improvement of your site
- Solid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current flu and COVID Vaccinations
