Position Title:Manager Housing, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), Counselling and Custodial Health

Classification: HS6 Grade 4 Allied Health Manager or Nursing Equivalent – (dependant on skills, experience & qualifications)

Employment Type: Ongoing full-time – 76 hours per fortnight or 80 hours per fortnight with ADO

Role description

An exciting new opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Manager to join our Community Health team.  You will be providing senior leadership and management across the following programs – Housing Service, AOD, Counselling Programs and the Primary Health Service at Tarrengower Prison.

To be successful you will need to be tertiary qualified in a relevant health or community services discipline, have current and relevant experience in a management position. You will be required to have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to lead a team to achieve high quality client care.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Social Work, Counselling or relevant health related discipline.
  • Current AHPRA Registration or membership of a relevant professional Association.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant discipline
