The Position:
As a Facility Manager this key role is about ensuring our residents receive high-quality person-centred care services and where the home operates effectively and efficiently.
- This is a Monday - Friday full-time position
- Medium home
- Located in Morwell
- You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the home
- You will be a natural leader with the ability to maintain the crucial balance between service and clinical care, and operational and staffing needs
- You will understand the significant Aged Care reform agenda and royal commission recommendations and be passionate about leading, managing teams to achieve high standards.
- Display responsibility for self, the team and the environment
Key Information:
- Lead by example in fostering and developing relationships with residents, their families, staff and volunteers so they know they are valued and respected
- Develop annual facility based budget, monitor and manage resources according to budget forecasts and variances

- You do not need to be clinical for this role
- Tertiary qualifications in a health or related discipline.
- Formal qualifications in Management or related discipline or comparable business experience.
- Demonstrable empathy with the elderly community and their families
- Proven financial, people and change management skills in an Aged Care residential facility
- Demonstrable strengths in continuous improvement and quality systems
- Demonstrated experience in the Accreditation process
