Your New Role We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to lead and support our care team at The Alba Aged Care on a full-time basis. Located in South Melbourne with convenient access to public transport and main roadways, The Alba Aged Care is home to 95 residents and stylish, purpose built, private rooms, this amazing facility was opened in June 2023. In this pivotal and highly rewarding position, your responsibilities will include: Leading and managing our care team, including training, coaching on best practice and care principles Ensuring quality of care delivery provided to residents meets and exceeds best practice Assisting with preparation and leadership for site audits and accreditations Identifying and managing care related risks Management of resident needs and complex issues as required Operations management, including overseeing recruitment, roster management and some administrative tasks Feedback management including investigation and response to concerns raised Promoting a positive staff culture to support solid staffing outcomes Supporting current change reforms currently underway Capture, record and evidence continuous improvement initiatives About you: As well as being an accomplished Care Manager and Leader, you will align to our Values of Bold, Warm and Honest. You will be able to demonstrate empathy and the ability to provide excellent clinical care for our residents, whilst effectively leading and supporting a team. Knowledge of accreditation procedures and standards Excellent interpersonal skills and extensive leadership and management experience An experienced and accomplished operator with understanding of daily operations and staff management Proven ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives and implement new systems and processes Understanding financial management; ability to identify funding mismatches, clinical consumables in-line with budget and support requirements. Experience in operational management including recruitment and rostering; ideally in a facility or clinical management position.
