Care Manager - Aged Care

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualised care plans.
• Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure compliance with Aged Care regulations.
• Provide mentoring and support to nursing staff, promoting continuous professional development.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and family members to enhance residents' well-being.
• Manage administrative tasks, including rostering, budgeting, and reporting.

Your skills and experience:

• Experience: Previous experience in a CM/NUM role  preferred but not essential.
• Skills: Proven management skills, team leadership, and a strong working knowledge of continuous improvement.
• Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with Personal Care and Resident Lifestyle requirements in the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Clinical Expertise: Excellent clinical skills and significant Aged Care experience.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership qualities and a passion for making a difference.
• Legislation Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Tech Savvy: Computer literacy and a multidisciplinary approach to clinical practice.
