 About the Role

The Career Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for overseeing the acute clinical care of patients and aiding in the delivery of an efficient, safe and professional medical service throughout the hospital.

Working under the guidance of Specialist and Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) the CMO will cover all hospital departments, supporting VMOs in the management of inpatient care.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong clinical skillset with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of patients across our facility including medical, surgical, rehabilitation and mental health.

You will also bring:

• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 3 years Australian clinical experience
• Hold appropriate Visa/Residency status to work in Australia
• Current resuscitation skills including BLS, ALS, PALS and airway support skills.
