Our son was born April 2024. I'm looking for a nanny part-time mid year around July / August as I return to work. I could require services earlier to ease into it and wouldn't mind having a few hours to ourselves. We unfortunately have no family or relatives to help. We both work professionally full-time with flexibility to WFH. We have a Moodle x Silky 11 year dog who has been our first born. We have lived in Brisbane for 10+ years. Married for 14+ years.
Your Duties
Care of baby boy who would be 3-6 months including feeding, soothing, tummy time, reading and playtime. Household duties when baby is napping such as cleaning and sanitising bottles, hanging & folding laundry, meal prep chopping veggies etc, spot cleaning or tidying of kitchen, lounge, high use common areas. When baby is taking solids, help with prepping purees etc. This is my first time hiring a nanny so need someone flexible as I don't know what else will be required and will be a trial and error too.
Our Perfect Caregiver
Ideally experienced with babies as our son was born April 2024 so only a few months. Has own vehicle, live nearby within 10km radius of Stafford suburb. Comfortable in household with mum and sometimes dad present as we sometimes WFH. Can help out with household duties when baby is napping such as cleaning and sanitising bottles, hanging & folding laundry, meal prep chopping veggies etc, spot cleaning or tidying of kitchen, lounge, high use common areas. When baby is taking solids, help with prepping purees etc. I like someone I can build a long-term relationship as a regular nanny and this could eventuate into a few days a week. We plan to send our boy to daycare (part-time) from October 2024 when he is a bit older but would like to keep our Nanny on to supplement the days and to help with afternoon and evening routines. i.e. Nanny on Thursday, Daycare Friday etc. This is to be confirm, it is an idea for now. If you're a student studying Early Childhood Education, Nursing, Midwifery would be desirable.
