25 - 30 hours per week.
We are seeking a dedicated, trustworthy, long-term Caretaker/Cleaner. This role will be looking after 6 properties in the Inner West, ensuring they are clean and well maintained.
Duties include:
- Cleaning our office once a week, including vacuum, dusting + wiping, bathrooms, laundry - bathroom towels and tea towels; sweeping garage
- Weekly cleaning and maintaining the common areas of 6 locations:
- Sweeping/mopping/dusting all shared areas
- Cleaning door handles, letter boxes, gates, hand rails, walls
- Keep footpath outside of properties tidy (remove rubbish, sweep etc)
- Cleaning caretaker bathrooms, store rooms and a laundry
- Putting garbage bins out for collection and returning to designated area
- Removal of weeds, tidy and water gardens when necessary
- Occasional (~ quarterly):
- Clean out stormwater drains and accessible gutters
- Wash out garbage bins
- Cleaning of apartments/units when turning over or after builder repairs/maintenance
- Small adhoc repairs
- Liaison and co-ordination:
- Liaison and occasional meetings with Owner and Property Manager
- Collection of laundry coins from 1 property and deliver to office
- Supply/purchase all cleaning products and bathroom paper for caretaker bathrooms
- Driving between properties
- Be a self-starter with relevant experience
- Reside close to the Inner West as all properties are in this area
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle
- Supply own tools and equipment
- Good references
- A regular fortnightly payment, based on regular hours and good rate, plus allowance for cleaning supplies
- Occasional extra work
