We are currently seeking a Cargo Warehouse Storeman, who share's our values of Safety & Security, Passion, Integrity, Reliability, Innovation and Teamwork.
Suitable candidates will be required to deliver a range of Cargo services including sorting out, packing and unpacking freight. You will be required to work a 7 day rotational, shift work roster on a Casual basis.
Candidate requirements
- Must be reliable and motivated to work.
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment and ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
- Well presented.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
- Must hold a current Drivers License.
- Must hold a current Forklift License.
- Perform duties which center on ‘hands on’ activities in areas which are directly and indirectly associated with freight handling, including receipt and dispatch, sort or breakdown of cargo to customer specifications.
- Possess Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
Safety, Security and Compliance
Carry out all cargo related activities (as above but not limited to) as directed by the Company through its policies, procedures and training to ensure the success of the operation including the following:
- Remain up to date with all station notices relating to policies and procedures
- Remain up to date with all relevant operational training
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment at all times
- Comply with the Company’s open, fair and honest reporting culture
