About the Role:
We are looking for a competent Carpenter to play a supporting role to our Construction Supervisor in Dawesville, WA.
The successful candidate will have several years experience in a similar role with a reputable commercial builder.
Experience with previous Site set-out is required.

- Demonstrated experience in reading documents, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
- Experience working on commercial projects involving structures, formwork, scaffolding valued at $15m+
- The ability to work with trades, set grids, set heights, as directed by Site supervisor
- Good knowledge of all facets of commercial construction and multilevel projects
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials, eye for detail
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Experience in timber frame and timber truss construction, and cladding materials
- Strong communication skills and be able to consult at all levels of the business and at the project level.
- Reliable, honest and punctual individual, enthusiastic about learning new skills and a team player.
- Demonstrated planning, judgement and problem-solving skills;
- Basic tools required, full driving licence and transport.
- Police Clearance, Carpentry Certificate, or Certificate IV in Building and Construction and White Card are required.
Rights to work in Australia (valid visa/citizen) and a valid driver's licence are a pre-requisite for this position.
