As a business that’s always busy and continually growing, we need an experienced Trade Qualified, Carpenter/Builder to help manage the construction process and liaise with our awesome clients.
The role is perfect for a great communicator and problem solver.
What you will receive:
- Full time position with generous salary + super and potential for bonuses.
- Monday - Friday (Weekends are for the family).
- Vehicle, mobile phone, laptop.
- Initial training with our procedures and systems
Typical responsibilities include:
- Managing residential projects in accordance with the Building Code, plans, and scope of works details.
- Updating BuilderTrend project management system on a daily basis.
- Check measures with clients and relaying that information to the draftsperson and certifier.
- Liaising with carpentry teams and clients on a daily basis.
- Material take offs and ordering from suppliers.
- Organising client variations and addressing any questions.
- Client handovers with the aim of 5 star reviews.
About you:
- Experienced Supervisor is preferred or 5+ years as a Lead Carpenter
- Trade qualified (Carpenter, Builder, Patio Roofer, etc.)
- Computer literate. ie. emailing, excel spreadsheets, WORD documents, etc.
- Personable with thoughtful verbal and written communication skills
- Client focussed with an understanding of client needs.
