Our Trades Team is searching for their next Tradie! Take advantage of this unique opportunity to provide leadership, direction and inspiration to the Trades Carpentry, Building and Painting teams. You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, working both on the tools and off the tools doing administrative tasks.
If you're interested in expanding your experience within a wide range of facilities and trades, this could be the job for you! Some of the areas you’ll work on include Community Halls, Amenities, Aquatic centres, Cemetery’s, RFS & SES buildings, Holiday Parks and Commercial Property and that’s just to name a few . You’ll also work in undertaking scheduled service maintenance, reactive Maintenance and provide estimates/scope of works
About You
This role will suit a candidate with excellent customer service skills who has a strong ability to manage competing priorities and the capability to adapt to a quickly changing environment.
About the role You’ll:
The delivery of works in accordance with BCA, Australian Standards, Work Cover Codes of Practice, Risk, Heritage Environmental requirements and Client standards
Your Team
The Trades Team consists of Carpenters, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians Boilermakers/Fabrication, Mechanics and Cleaners. The Trades Team live for the reactive/last minute work where we need to drop everything and make things happen, All trades are happy to jump in and help each other out but still have time to enjoy the work/life balance Port Stephens council has to offer.
