4 Day per week position in MurwillumbahWorkforce Australia is the Department of Education, Skills and Employment’s employment services model that delivers simple and efficient solutions to assist local job seekers and employers.Workforce Australia will enable local job-ready job seekers to self-manage through interactive digital services, while those with greater needs will be supported by Case Managers.About the role.... Develop strong ongoing relationships with local employers through cold calling, telephone canvassing, promotion, relationship building and general sales concepts Gain a strong understanding of the local labour market and employer needs and use this to create quality employment opportunities for your clients Achieve successful outcomes and ongoing employment placements by providing support to employers & participants after the commencement of employment Use strength based, tailored caseload management skills to support and motivate clients to achieve their career goals Assist participants to prepare for work by creating resumes, assisting with applications and mock interviews, working on strengths and overcoming barriers in appointments and group settings Complete administrative and compliance tasks and follow up within required time-frames (case notes, evidence collection, data entry) About you.....To be successful in this exciting and rewarding role you will have the following: Ability to create or build networks in the local community to promote VERTOs clients and services The ability to work and succeed in a target driven environment Confident negotiation skills & resilient in your nature Excellent interpersonal skills & customer service skills Strong administration and computer skills Demonstrated experience as an enthusiastic team player Well-developed organisational skills and the ability prioritise competing demands A current drivers' licence with the ability to travel within your local area Benefits and culture....
