Housing Plus operate a state-of-the-art facility called The Orchard, in Orange, for women and children escaping domestic and family violence. We are looking for a full time Case Worker as part of our Operation Courage Service, working out of the Orchard. As part of the passionate Orchard team, the Case Worker will deliver best practice support services to women and children in Orange and surrounds.
Operation Courage Provides:
- Emergency and transitional accommodation
- Case Management for high needs victims
- Transport to safety
- Brokerage for emergency needs such as food and sanitary items
- Safety planning
- Assistance with victims compensation
- On-going Information, advocacy, support and referral
To be successful, you will require strong experience in Community Services, ideally within the DFV Sector; proven ability to professionally and sensitively deliver client services to clients experiencing emotional distress; well-developed communication skills; and demonstrated experience in identifying key stakeholders and establishing effective relationships.

This is a full time (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday) Maximum Term Contract until 30th June 2026.
The Case Worker is classified as a Level 4.1 under the SCHADS Award, which equates to $82,264 gross per annum. This will increase on an annual basis in line with the pay points in the Award.
