Form of workGunnedah Family Support (GFS) is a non-government, community-based organisation that has been delivering services to families and individuals in the Gunnedah local government area for over 30 years.
Gunnedah Family Support is seeking a Case Worker (Specialist Homelessness Service) to provide specialist case management expertise to families and individuals who are at risk of/or experiencing homelessness.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Providing specialist case management support to families and individuals at risk of/or experiencing homelessness in Gunnedah LGA.
- Working within a culturally sensitive and trauma informed framework.
- Develop, engage and build strong working relationships, including external services provider partnerships, in order to improve services for families and individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Gunnedah.
- Responding to a wide range of factors that contribute to and compound homelessness.
