About the role:
Provide administrative support services to our Finance team in a variety of activities. If successful, you will need to have sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, as well as demonstrating strong problem solving skills; high level IT skills and proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and sound time management capabilities.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Minimum of Certificate III in Business Administration or similar field and/or at least 3 years' experience in an administration role
- Proven experience in the provision of administrative support in a funded/contracted setting, including the ability to communicate with a range of people (for example, CALD communities and difficult clients)
- High level IT skills and proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem solve and take the extra mile to engage customers
- Experience working with client management systems and/or government databases, inputting and extracting data
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills
- Exposure to financial processes, payments and/or petty cash management
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
