Primary Purpose of the Position
The position of Bus Driver is responsible for the transporting students to and from school and sporting venues via our school buses and vehicles.
Key Accountabilities
Transporting
- Provide driving services to and be responsible for the welfare and safety of MLC students and staff to and from MLC School and sporting venues
- Take care of, maintain, clean and ensure any issues or problems with the buses are reported promptly
- Complete any daily vehicle log and all other reports as required.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures on the bus to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory
- Authorised Bus Driver (Transport for NSW)
- LR Driver Licence
- Proven experience and reliability in bus driving
- WWCC
Desirable
- A sound knowledge of Sydney and surrounding road networks
- Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications
