AddressWe are currently looking for a friendly, professional and organised Medical Receptionist /Enrolled Nurse to join our busy and growing clinic. Excellent working environment with friendly staff and patients.
This role is more than just clerical work — it is customer service-driven, with a strong emphasis on facilitating a positive and welcoming patient experience.
Candidates with a nursing background and an interest in practice management are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients into the practice in an efficient and courteous manner
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Collecting and entering patient details
- Answering phone calls and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Patient billing (Private + Bulk Billing) and processing of payments
- Performing general administrative duties such as scanning
- Assisting practitioners as needed
The applicant will also be required to work independently at times, work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate commitment to working hard.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Some advanced skills in Microsoft Office welcome
- Experience using Pracsoft + Medical Director software would be preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly manner
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work both independently with initiative and as a team member
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task in a busy environment
- Current Australian Drivers license and own car
- Experience: Medical Receptionist 2 years (Required)
