The role available
We are seeking casual Childcare Cooks to prepare warm, nutritional meals for children using rotational menus at Childcare centres located in and around Parramatta, NSW. Your duties will include preparing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for children aged 0-6 years.
This position is flexible from Monday to Friday!
You will be working in local Centres with lovely children, great families and beautiful environments. You will have supportive educators and Directors and most centres are easily accessible via public transport!
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar Childcare Chef role (necessary)
- Relevant completed certificates in nutrition/safe food handling or completed these two units in Certificate IV in Commerical Cookery: SITXFSA001 (Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety) and SITXFSA002 (Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices)
- Current/Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Available to work 5 days per week.
- A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
- Good time management skills
