AddressEmbracia Childcare and Kindergarten are excited to welcome a motivated and enthusiastic Part time or Casual Centre Cook into our purpose - built 120 place Childcare Centre in Kyneton.
The Role:
All meals at Embracia Childcare and Kindergarten are prepared onsite in our beautiful and spacious kitchen that we commissioned in August 2023 when we opened our service last year. The role is for a part-time Centre Cook, to start with us as soon as possible. Within the role of a cook, you will be responsible for creating and providing an approved healthy menu for the kids, as well as alternative suitable meals for children with intolerances and allergies. This role is also open to student seeking a placement opportunity to continue their Commercial Cookery studies.

Key Requirements:
- Employee Working with children check (or willing to obtain)
- Must hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or working towards one)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Food handlers certificate / Food safety supervisor required
- Experience working in a child care centre preferred
- Experience preparing meals for children with allergies, including Anaphylaxis
