Casual Creative Coach

Our programs develop critical collaborative and creative thinking skills in 5-12yr olds through active skill-building. At StarTime, and across all our programs; we celebrate the individual talents inherent in every child, allowing them to dream big and have the courage to pursue these dreams throughout life.

We are currently hiring for our School Holiday Program and for ongoing holiday work.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Availability required: School Holiday Periods 2024
• Have extensive experience working with children and young people.
• Must be able to engage positively with children and communicate effectively.
• You are confident and adept working across various iPad applications or are confident in your ability to learn quickly (we provide training on the specific apps we use).
• Have a current Blue Card, or be able to apply for one ASAP.
• Have an ABN (or willing to apply for one)
• Have a current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Have experience working in the Creative Arts or Education.

ABOUT YOU:

• You are adaptable, energetic, enthusiastic, organised, efficient and can think on your feet.
• You are a thoughtful and proactive communicator.
• You are constantly striving for exemplary results in the learning of students and teachers who attend our programs.
• You are willing to up-skill and participate in paid training in order to deliver workshops on a variety of exciting topics and skills.
   

REMUNERATION:

• HEAD COACH: $100/workshop
• ASSISTANT COACH: $72/workshop
• JUNIOR / TRAINEE COACH: $37/workshop
• Standard travel included.
• 2 hours per workshop.
• Up to 2 workshops per day (traveling to 2 different venues in close proximity).
• Workshops run between the hours of 10am - 3pm
