As a Casual Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children. 
About Goodstart New Lambton:
Goodstart Early Learning New Lambton is located in a convenient and quiet residential area, close to local shops, schools and community amenities. We are five minutes’ drive from The John Hunter Hospital, 10 minutes’ drive from Newcastle CBD, and in walking distance to local primary schools.
We create programs for children daily, and use the Early Years Learning Framework as a foundation for our program. We take into account our children and families culture, interests, needs and abilities, and tailor our program to meet the individual needs within our centre. The centre philosophy is based on our belief that children learn through play, and “RESPECT for others” is a key foundation of our philosophy.
Educators at Goodstart New Lambton encourage family input and feedback into our service and strive to develop strong partnerships with our children and families through the implementation of the key educator approach. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, also enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication.

You’ll need:
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
