The role of the Registered Nurse is to effectively manage patient care activities to a group of assigned patients and participate in Unit activities as directed by the Nursing Unit Manager, within the Hobson Healthcare Collaborative Nursing Care Model.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Endoscopy Trained Nurse seeking a career advancement within an experienced multidisciplinary perioperative environment based at our Werribee facility. 

RN's & EEN's required for both part time and casual roles.  Shifts can vary from AM, PM or twilight shift. 

Essential criteria

  • Registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 
  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent 
  • Endoscopy Experience 
  • Proficient computer skills 
  • Commitment to professional development and a structured learning program for all staff 
  • Proof of COVID19 & Flu vaccinations 
  • Working With Children’s Check & current National Police Check

Desirable criteria

  • Experience with day procedure or theatre experience or an interest in the area 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Professional practice in accordance with legislation, fulfilling duty of care requirements, and responding to unsafe or unprofessional practices
  • Critical thinking and analysis, adopting practises based on an evidence-based framework, and taking part in ongoing professional development of staff and others
  • Provision and coordination of care in systematic way, working in consultation with other staff and doctors as part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team 

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be employed under the Healthe Care Victorian Hospitals Support Services Enterprise Agreement.
