A family-owned farm at Mingenew has a position available for a Casual Farm Machinery Operator. The farm team work together to produce wheat, canola and lupins.
Starting now, your duties include operating GPS cropping machinery, mechanical and general farm maintenance, workshop, local seasonal truck driving, and occasional dorper sheep work.
The position is best suited to a cropping Machinery Operator with demonstrated GPS dry land broad acre cropping experience, and basic mechanical, computer record keeping and animal husbandry skills. A manual driver’s licence and minimum HR truck licence are necessary.
Reliable, motivated and community minded workers with strong initiative and problem-solving skills who enjoy teamwork in a safe working environment are encouraged to apply.
You can negotiate a casual hourly rate matching your experience, there is plenty of work on offer and you can vary your work hours to suit your personal circumstances including taking all weekends off during quiet periods. The position comes with comfortable accommodation to suit including water, electricity, and school bus at the gate. Work is available in the local area for a partner and a current police check may be requested.
