We provide support to NDIS participants, Aged Care recipients as well as private clients.
We are looking for engaged and committed Support Workers who share our values of reliability, empathy, genuineness, accessibility, and leadership. We actively support candidates from diverse backgrounds to build a rewarding career in the home care industry, those returning to work, or seeking a career change.
Position Overview:
- Personal care such as showering, grooming, or dressing
- Social support with companionship or attending to the community for appointments or recreational activities
- Capacity-building activities to assist with learning new skills or increasing independence
- Domestic assistance such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light household cleaning and assistance
- Recording attendance through a smartphone application as well as a summary of tasks completed
Requirements:
Home Support Workers are required to have:
- National Police Check (Less than a year old)
- Driver’s License
- Comprehensively insured, registered, and well-maintained car
- Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline
- (Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care, Personal Assistance)
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
Regal Care pays SCHADS award wages with the addition of generous bonuses pro rate to the jobs attended.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks referred to in the position overview
- Ability to meet compliance and qualification criteria referred to in requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Availability to work at least three days a week
- Registered, road-worthy and insured vehicle
