Job description

Casual Hotel Receptionist:

Responsibilities:

Front Desk Operations:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Manage reservations (RMS) and ensure accuracy of guest information.

Customer Service:

  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and provide information about the hotel's facilities and services.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide excellent customer service to create a positive guest experience.

Communication:

  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department.
  • Relay messages and information to guests and staff.

Payment Processing:

  • Process guest payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handle cash transactions and ensure the security of funds.

Multitasking:

  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones while assisting guests in person.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain and update guest records.
  • Prepare and distribute key cards.
  • Keep the front desk area clean and organized.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel procedures and hospitality industry standards.
  • Proficient in computer systems and hotel management software.

Guest Service Representative:

Responsibilities:

Guest Assistance:

  • Provide personalized assistance to guests throughout their stay.
  • Offer recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and activities.

Problem Resolution:

  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues to their satisfaction.
  • Liaise with other departments to meet guest needs.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with guests, ensuring clear and accurate information.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services.

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and services.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Positive and friendly attitude
