We are seeking a dedicated and customer-driven Courier MR/HR driver on a casual basis to work with in food service distribution. You will be required to work 3 – 5 days a week, 4 – 8 hours per shift rotating between truck & van deliveries. The average weekly hours are 20-30 more in summer months in a growing small business. Majority of work early morning starts finishing around 2pm, occasional evening and Sunday work.
Responsibilities
- Pick-up and delivery shipments to customers on timely manner
- Perform tasks according to safety policies and procedures.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Perth area is an advantage. The ability to work with a sense of urgency and to deliver excellent customer service is important.
- Maintain, clean vans and trucks
Criteria
- A full manual driver's licence with good driving record
- A MR/HR truck/forklift licence
- A forklift licence or willingness to obtain licence.
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must have own smart phone ~ Allowance paid for use at work.
- Fast learner and ability to work under pressure.
- A team player
- Good attention to details
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Well organised and punctual
- Provide or be prepared to undertake a National Police Clearance Certificate.
- Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical including a drug test.
