This position would suit applicants with a good interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and works well in both team environment and independently. Working 38 hours in a 4 day week.

* Prior experience as a Medical Receptionist
* Good computer skills

* Must be well presented at all times
* Punctuality and reliability essential
* Previous experience with Best Practice / VIP or other medical software (preferable)
* Knowledge of Medicare and private billing
* Friendly approachable manner
* Interested in learning and taking on new responsibilities and assisting in practice growth
* Minimum 3-5 years Medical Receptionist experience
The roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Assist patients with Surgical bookings and help co-ordinate surgical lists for facilities.
* Meet and greet all patients and medical representatives with exceptional customer service skills.
* Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documents.
* Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
* Attend to patient billing using the procedure/practice and software.
* Collect payments and/or process Medicare, DVA, Work-cover and other receipts
* Undertake other reasonable duties and tasks directed by the practice manager
* Management of the waiting room including patient flow and tidiness,
