About Matilda Bay and the Brew Pub
Matilda Bay Brewery was launched in 1983 with a mission to prove there was life beyond lager; to wake up drinkers to what great beer, brewed properly, could be. It would be fair to say it birthed the craft movement. Our new brewery and pub in Victoria’s Yarra Valley opened in 2020.
Our food menu is crafted like our beer – with an obsession for balanced flavours – and changes according to what’s in season. We love cooking with fire and we are passionate about serving elevated pub food that is fresh, tasty & modern using the best available local produce. Our state-of-the-art kitchen boast an incredible fit out with asado wood fired grill, pellet smokers and an impressive Italian wood fired pizza oven.

We are looking for enthusiastic kitchen staff of all levels who are excited about learning and willing to grow and progress their career as professional chefs.
You must be passionate about cooking and respect produce and provenance. You should display great teamwork and communication and flexible and adaptable to new challenges.
