We are seeking casual administrators & receptionists to work within our Urgent Care Service. The Orange Urgent Care Service is designed to provide patients with access to healthcare from General Practitioners during evenings and weekends.
The Urgent Care Service aims to treat patients for urgent, but not life-threatening presentations - with the goal of assisting the the local Emergency Department and the community.
About You
You will first and foremost be a team player, have computer knowledge, be able to work with different software programs and have a positive attitude to all tasks at hand. You will have a cheerful & approachable personality and are somebody who gets along with anyone. You will have a strong work ethic and are someone who will get in to get the job done. You will be someone who is reliable and someone that your team members can count on.
Essential Criteria:
- Preferred – experience within the Medical sector
- Preferred – experience with GP's and/or Specialists
- Preferred – experience with Medical administration
- Preferred – flexibility to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 5:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday and Sundays 8:00am - 8:00pm (which can be 4, 6, 8 or 12 hour shifts)
- Willingness to learn
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Data entry
- Booking appointments for walk in patients
- Arriving patients
- Liaising with patients
- Liaising with nurses and doctors
- Prioritising and actioning doctor requests
- Using multiple software programs
