About the role
Australian Clinical Labs has newly become a publicly listed organisation with strong growth aspirations, this is a place for someone who wants to help us in transitioning to a market leader. We currently have vacancies for Part Time and Casual Pathology Collectors to join our Darwin team.
These positions will suit self-motivated individuals wanting to work within Collection Centres or a domiciliary setting, who can demonstrate an attention to detail, along with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Specific duties include;
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens
- Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.
Skills and experience;
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience
- Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone
- Exceptional time management skills
- Sound clinical knowledge.
- A valid Driver's License
- Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team referring, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
- Basic computer skills
- Rights to work in Australia.
