About the role
As a result of business demand, opportunities exist for a Process Operator with a flair for Safety & Continuous Improvement to join our Manufacturing Teams. The person in this role will be a key player in assisting in the delivery of production efficiencies of our trusted quality products to customers.
Reporting to the area Team Leader, with appropriate training you will be responsible for undertaking the following activities:
- Daily operation of key Packing and or Filling Machine Centers.
- Running and adhering to standard production operating procedures & quality standards focusing on; GMP/ HACCP.
- The ability to read & understand SOP’s.
- Engagement and involvement in Lean / Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Compliance with business Zero Harm Safety Focus.
- Consultation with Production Team Leaders & Maintenance personnel re. Machine Center performance to standard.
- Daily population of Machine Center productivity & quality documentation to standards.
- Undertake basic machine center 5S activities.
- Changeover / Line Set-Ups to Standard Settings when required.
Experience
- Min. 1 year experience operating Liquid filing & bottling lines.
- Mechanical & learning aptitude.
- Basic understanding in the principles of GMP/ HACCP & C.I.
- Team player & ability to troubleshoot processing issues.
- Attention to detail & diligence in production & quality documentation completion.
- Current Forklift License.
