Job Overview:
We are looking for a nurse to support an in-home infusion program in the rare disease space delivering fortnightly 6-hour long infusions. The patient is based in Bracken Ridge and the medication needs to be collected at the Prince Charles Hospital in Chermside. As an IQVIA Registered Nurses you will have the opportunity to visit patients in their homes to administer crucial medication for a variety of treatments.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for nursing, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing patient-centred care.
Type of administration:
- IV cannulation
Skills and qualifications:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Familiarity with the procedures and practice of performing an IV cannulation is essential
- Current CPR Certificate
- Immunization record - COVID vaccination mandatory
- Demonstrated commitment to provide high quality, safe and effective nursing care that aligns with individual residents’ preference and best practice
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability engage with a range of individuals
- Flexibility to work Monday - Friday, standard business hours as a casual employee specific to the needs of the patients
