Position Purpose
As a Registered Nurse you will provide person-centred care to your clients in the community, ensuring a safe environment and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life.
With no two days the same you'll spend the majority of your day on the road, completing your scheduled community visits.
Must have experience or be passionate about one or more of the following:
- Community Health Nursing Services
- Competence in SPC/IDC management
- Complex wound management
- Continence assessment and scripting
- Continence management
- An interest in bowel management systems
- Wound Management
- Be able to work autonomously.
- Willingness for continuous professional development
- Adaptable and accepting of change
- Can think and act on their feet
Key Selection Criteria
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Master's degree preferred).
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licence.
- Certification as a Community Health Nurse (CHN) or willingness to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and the ability to effectively engage diverse populations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Passion for community-centered care and a commitment to promoting health equity and social justice.
- Demonstrated SCI , wound and continence assessment experience or a willingness to undertake
- Intermediate skills of computer literacy including working with cloud-based software
- Experience with Workflow Max, Employment Hero, Google Suite preferred not essential.
- Availability to work weekends is essential
