Casual Secondary Rowing Coach
Scone Grammar School is looking for a Casual Rowing Coach to join our dynamic team commencing in Term 3, 2024. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of the SGS Rowing Programme and coach rowing across Secondary year groups.
Hours and days will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Skills and Abilities:
The following skills and expertise would be seen as an advantage.
- An ability to plan, prepare and deliver quality coaching experiences
- An ability to supervise and mentor Student Rowing Captains
- Active listening skills and the ability to engage with and builds strong positive relationships with members of the school community including employees, students, and parents
- An ability to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment to engage and support diverse students
- Well-developed organisational skills, the ability to work well in a team, as well as the ability to work independently
- Light Rigid Drivers Licence would be highly advantageous
Essential Criteria
- Level 1 National Rowing Accreditation or willingness to complete this qualification
- Experienced coaches or rowing proficient sportspeople may apply
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
- Commitment to attend Regattas during the Rowing Season (October – April)
