Join our team as a Coaching Sales Consultant and thrive in our rapidly expanding business. This is a remote position and we are recruiting Australia-wide! 

About Us: Farm Owners Academy (FOA) is a leading education and business coaching business supporting farming families across Australia and beyond. Founded in 2015, we help farming families develop the business skills to run a very successful farm business and lead fulfilling lives.

You will work closely with the Business Development Team of Farm Owners Academy, and you will be mentored. 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Successfully enrolling farming families into our signature coaching programs. Handle program inquiries, consistently meeting or surpassing designated targets.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of conversations and interactions with our community, sales activities, track performance metrics, and generate regular reports
  • Advocate for FOA: Actively promote and represent Farm Owners Academy within the industry to enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve sales systems and processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness
  • Sales Training:  We offer extensive training opportunities in sales, leadership, and negotiation techniques to enhance your skills.

About You:

  • You Have Strong Industry Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of the farming industry and the challenges farmers face, enabling you to connect with and relate to potential clients. Experience in coaching or consulting within the agriculture sector is a big plus.
  • Empathetic: You build strong relationships with our potential new members by understanding their needs and providing sound and tailored recommendations for the next steps.
  • Excellent Communicator: You excel in both verbal and written communication, adept at articulating the value of FOA programs and skilfully addressing concerns with clarity and empathy
  • Results-Driven: You are highly motivated by achieving and exceeding KPIs and targets, demonstrating a strong track record of success in sales
  • You’re Proactive: You actively follow up on every lead and are dedicated to supporting our members in achieving their business goals. You excel in enrolling them into FOA Programs that best fit their needs, and never giving up on our members easily. Throughout this process, you consistently maintain a 6-star customer experience.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: You are always looking for ways to improve sales processes and systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the sales team.

Requirements:

  • An appreciation and understanding for agriculture and/ or living and working in a rural setting
  • Experience in coaching or consulting within the ag sector is a big plus
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling, particularly with a background in selling coaching programs, is highly preferred. Alternatively, a strong desire to learn in this area
  • The ability to work as part of a remote but high-performing team
  • A quiet home office space free from distractions
  • Strong, reliable internet connection
  • Confidence in working online using platforms like Zoom, Slack and CRM. We will provide training in these systems as part of your induction if you are not familiar.
