We are looking for an individual who will play a crucial role, in working with our vendors and providing administration support to wider team here at Farm Source Support Office in Hamilton.This is a great first step into the world of Procurement. We expect that our Category Coordinator will be a superstar at managing the day to day administration of Farm Source's Procurement function. The role will also be involved in running our National Quote Desk service.This is a 6 month Fixed term contractAs the Category Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:

• Support the creation and maintenance of vendor terms of trade
• Loading new contracts into Ariba.
• Running of Quote Desk operations
• Responsible for overseeing the product load process, aiding and training procurement specialists and others within the Article Load workflow.
• Support Category in the coordination of all projects or tenders relating to procurement activities
• Support across Category with purchase orders, continuous improvement, invoicing queries, and general administration

About youYou must be highly organised, proactive, bring second-to-none communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with people from all parts of the industry. You will need to be resilient, able to negotiate tricky situations and stakeholders, and have excellent attention to detail. Naturally curious and passionate about the agriculture space, your customer focused approach and ability to build rapport quickly will help you succeed in this rewarding role.Other key requirements include:

• Strong experience working with external and internal customers.
• Effective communication at all levels within the organisations in written and verbal form and demonstrated ability to collaborate cross team.
• Proven ability in Excel (V-Look ups, Pivots) and SAP.
• Experience in Ariba and Sharepoint would be advantageous.
